Not all Charleston Wedding Videographers are the same

A common misconseption that many people have about videographers is that they are all the same. No matter if you have a professional do it or if you get Uncle Charlie that has a awesome video camera and a tripod to do it the end product isnt going to be that much different?

THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

A truly professional Charleston wedding videographers product will differ greatly from anything Uncle Charlie or even an amatuer videographer could produce.

With photography it is a widely known thing that there is a huge difference between high quality pictures and something that a lower priced photographer would produce. That same difference exists with videography and in fact since you are combining many art forms (filming, editiing, audio) the differences that exist can actually be MUCH wider than the differences in photographers.

What sets Absolute Productions and Media apart from everyone else?
Many things.
#1. We are a two “man” team. Actually its my wife and I. We do all of the filming for every Charleston wedding that we cover and all of our packages include at minimal us. Some packages even dictate that we hire in additional videographers.
#2. Artistic filming techniques. We constantly pusue filming techinques that are incedibly high quality. Some of the pictures that we get are just as artistic if not moreso than a still photo.
#3. Filming thoroughness. We have spoken to many videographers in the area about what is standard for the amount of footage at the end of the event. We have heard on average 2 - 4 hours. Nationally that average moves up a little bit to 5 - 6 hours per event based on the research we have done. So what do we end up with. On average we end up with 7 - 8 hours worth of footage. We have had a maximum of 18 hours worth of footage. This is a ton, YES, but we have found that having more in the end is better. Not every second of footage is a keeper. By having a plethora of footage to go through we can pick and choose every awesome shot to make your wedding movie a masterpiece!!!
#4. Audio. If videos do not have high quality audio then your video will be bad. Not only do we have equipment that allow us to cature high quality audio from multiple sources but we also seek out family and friends at the wedding in hopes of capturing additional audio that we can enhance the movie with.
#5. Editing. Between everyone on our editing team we spend on average 80 hour per wedding with more complex weddings ranging into the 200 hour mark just for the editing portion.

I think you will agree that NOT ALL CHARLESTON WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHERS are the same!! :-)
